The Olivar Foundation of the Provincial Governmet of Andalucia, gives the Expoliva 2007 prizes in recognition of high quality olive oils.
 Councillor Gaspar Zarrías presided over the Expoliva 2007 award ceremony. The prizes were given by the Olivar Foundation within the framework of the XIII International Olive Oil and Related Products Show which took place in Jaén.
Speaking About the winners of these prestigious awards, in such a prominent international arena, Councillor Zarrías pointed out that: "these prizes, without a doubt, give the best gold seal to such an important industrious debate. The best oils of the worl have premiered at this I International Show of Extra Virgin Olive Oil."
For the President the quality of the oils is the best publicity for the sector and went so far as to state that "with the quality of our oils we can sweep to victory in a increasingly competitive market. Our rich and excellent varieties, under the same umbrella, will prove very profitable."
In this edition of Expoliva 2007, our company, Aceites Olivar del Valle was awarded the Accésit Prize for Quality of the Extra Virgin Olive Oil in the Ripe/Sweet Fruity category.
Expoliva 2007 has more than 300 exhibitors over more than 31,000 square meters. Eleven autonomous regions and approximately fifteen countries are represented. The exhibitors, according to the ecomonic field they represent, are grouped in six large sectors: farming, production, services, marketing, public and private institutions.
